1-YEAR PRE-NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMME
General Entry Requirement
Candidates
must possess the West African School Certificate or Senior Secondary
Certificate or GCE/O' Level or its equivalent with a minimum of 2 Credits and 2
Passes from the subjects listed under the programme. Candidates are expected to
have at least Passes in English Language and Mathematics.
Furthermore,
candidates are expected to sit for and pass the JAMB/PCE Examination to enable
them proceed for the National Diploma accordingly.

(i) ND AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY
Candidates
must possess the West African School Certificate or Senior Secondary
Certificate or GCE/O' Level or its equivalent with a minimum of five Credits in
Biology, Agricultural Science and any three from the following subjects:
Geography, Mathematics, Chemistry, Economics, Statistics, English
Language and Mathematics.
(ii) ND AQUACULTURE AND FISHERIES
Candidates
must possess the West African School Certificate or Senior Secondary
Certificate or GCE/O' Level or its equivalent with a minimum of five Credits in
Biology, Agricultural Science and any three from the following subjects:
Geography, Mathematics, Chemistry, Economics, Statistics, English Language,
Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science.
At least a Pass in

TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT (SECRETARIAL STUDIES)
SSCE or WASCE or
GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings, which must
include: English Language, and any four from the following: Business Methods,
Commerce, Economics, Typewriting, Shorthand, Principles of Accounts,
Mathematics, History, Statistics, Literature-in-English, Government,
Geography, Biology, CRK/Islamic Studies, any one science subject.
At least a pass in
Mathematics is compulsory. OR
NABTEB: With
at least five credits at two sittings, which must include English
Language, Shorthand and Typing and any two from the following: Principles of
Accounts, Commerce, Biology, Economics or Social Studies.

at least five credits at two sittings, which must include Biology, Food
& Nutrition and Basic Cookery and any two from the following: Physics,
Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Basic Electronics, English and Home
Management.
At least a Pass in
English Language is compulsory.
(ii) ND SCIENCE
LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY
SSCE or WASCE or
GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings, which must
include: Mathematics and two subjects from Physics, Biology, Agricultural
Science or Chemistry, and two other subjects from Technical Drawing, Metal and
Wood-Work, Geography, Further Mathematics, Art, Physics, Biology/ Agricultural
Science, Chemistry and English Language.
At least a Pass in
each of the three basic sciences i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics is required.
A Pass grade in English Language is also compulsory.
(iii) ND COMPUTER
SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY
SSCE or WASCE or
GCE O’level or NECO with at least 5 credits at one sitting, which must
include Mathematics and a social science, then any three of the following:
Economics, English, Geography, Chemistry, Additional Mathematics, Physics,
Statistics, Biology/ Agricultural Science.
Candidates are
expected to have at least a pass in English Language and Physics. OR
NABTEB: With
at least five credits at two sittings, which must include Mathematics,
Physics and Basic Electronics and any two from the following: Biology,
Chemistry, General Metal Work.
At least a pass in
English is compulsory.
(vi) ND LEISURE &
TOURISM
SSCE or WASCE or
GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings,
which must include: English Language, Geography, a science subject and
any two from the following: , Economics, History, Statistics,
Mathematics, Food and Nutrition/Home Management, Government, and French.
At least passes
in Mathematics is compulsory.
(v) ND FOOD TECHNOLOGY
SSCE or WASCE or
GCE O’level or NECO with a minimum of five credits at two sittings, which must
include Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science and any three subjects from:
Mathematics, Geography, Economics, English Language, Additional/Further
Mathematics, Statistics and at least passes in Physics, Mathematics and English
Language are compulsory.

English Language is compulsory while a pass in Fine Art or Technical Drawing
will be an advantage. OR

2- YEAR HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) PROGRMMES
General
Entry Requirements
Applicants
who possess the following qualifications may be considered for admission into
Higher National Diploma programmes:
(i
). SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB entry requirements
for the corresponding National
Diploma Programmes;
(ii).
The National Diploma with a minimum of LOWER CREDIT classification in
the cognate National Diploma (ND) programme from an NBTE recognized
Institution;
(iii).
Candidates must have at least one- year work experience in the field of
specialization;
(iv).
Candidates with less than a lower credit classification may be required to have
at
least two (2) years work experience before he can be considered for admission.
